BBC One's Match of the Day FA Cup broadcast has been repeatedly disrupted by a strange noise - which some viewers identified as a phone sex noise prank.
At one point Gary Lineker asked fellow pundit Danny Murphy to stop making the noise - but the former Liverpol midfielder denied it was down to him.
He later revealed a mobile phone had been found taped to the back of the set. "Well, we found this taped to the back of the set. As sabotage goes it was quite amusing", said Gary.
On Twitter, David Couzens said: "Someone is playing the infamous Sex Noise during a live broadcast of BBC FA Cup Match of the Day."
@stokesyyyyy said: "FA cup Liverpool vs wolves BBC anyone here the woman having sex meme noise in the background repeatedly."
@katekickoffopiodcast said: "MOTD having a nightmare tonight - @PaulInce with the Sex noise video or was it Danny Murphy
@GaryLineker seeing the funny side at least ! Liverpool Wolves in the FA Cup got a lot to live up to"
The game itself was then affected by a powercut, which has taken out the VAR at the Molineux Stadium.
UPDATE: Youtuber claims he was behind MotD phone sex noise prank ahead of FA cup
