BBC Morning Live stars have provided an update after Strictly Come Dancing's Janette Manrara accidentally kicked a dog in the face. The professional dancer was performing a dance move with her husband Aljaž Škorjanec on Tuesday, June 21 when she clipped the pooch's nose.
The dog in question is called Dolly and belongs to show regular and vet Dr Greenwood. During Janette and Aljaž's performance, Dolly got a little intrigued and moved to get a closer look, however, as Janette was being spun she accidentally kicked Dolly in the snout.
Moments before the dramatic turn, presenter Gethin Jones could be heard shouting for Dolly to move, reports Liverpool Echo. However, as the credits began to roll many social media users took to Twitter to check if Dolly was okay.

Fortunately, Dolly is fine, with Gethin providing an update after the show. He told his followers: "Thanks for all your messages about Dolly - so much love! She properly got involved with strictly fitness didn’t she, and is absolutely fine! @drjgreenwood."
Dr Greenwood aslo shared a post, writing: "Hello everyone! This is just a quick post to say thank you for all the love and concern for Dolly from those who watched @bbcmorninglive today.
"We are home and I just want to reassure everyone that she is ABSOLUTELY 100% FINE!! She's certainly made some headlines, with her slightly over-zealous attempt to join in with the #StrictlyFitness routine , but I promise you no harm came to her, she was immediately showered with hugs and cuddles from the wonderful @jmanrara and @aljazskorjanec - and I reckon she was just trying to show everyone what a huge @bbcstrictly fan she is!"
"I have so much love for Morning Live, as do Dolly and Oliver, and it’s been really very humbling to hear how much love there is out there for them both. So thank you to all the brilliant Morning Live viewers, all is well, and we’ll be back up with the brill @gethincjones and @samquek13 in a couple of weeks."
Janette also provided an update, sharing a BBC Morning Live group photograph, which included Dolly, she wrote: "This photo was taken after my sincere apologies to 'Dolly'! She stepped into Aljiaz and I doing our little lift at the end of the show.
"Her excitement to join in was high! She is completely okay and we cuddled and kissed and made up".
