A Mastermind contestant performed so well, audiences suspected he might just be the famously anonymous painter Banksy. No-one knows who the mysterious painter from Bristol is, but one could assume he might perform well in a quiz show category about himself.
David Drury's specialist subject was the artist Banksy, who's identity still remains unknown decades after his paintings began cropping up. Often political in nature, his artworks have appeared across the globe but his identity has always remained a secret.
But on Twitter, Mastermind viewers said they think they have pinned down the anonymous street artist's identity, after David successfully answered 10 questions about the artist on the BBC One show. Some viewers had the sneaking suspicion David could be the secretive artist himself.

One viewer said: "Has anybody checked that the guy on Mastermind who's specialist subject is Banksy isn't actually Banksy?" Another added that the weren't sure "you should be allowed Banksy as a specialist subject" on the show, given the "actual Banksy" could pick it as a subject.
Another person wrote: "This bloke got a couple wrong, but then he would do if it was him to throw people off the scent wouldn’t he?"
Another fan said: "There’s a fairly obvious question that @CliveMyrieBBC could have asked about Banksy…."
After earning a decent 10 points in his Banksy category, viewers thought that the tour guide could be in the running as the painter. However, the "potential Banksy" made it no further than the general knowledge round, finishing the show with a total of 18 points, putting him in third place overall.
