Strictly Come Dancing viewers were thrilled as former professional dancer Aljaž Škorjanec made a surprise appearance on It Takes Two on Tuesday, November 8. Fans reacted as the firm favourite returned to screens after quitting the BBC One series in 2021.
Aljaž introduced his segment after presenter Rylan Clark chatted to Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu, who were saved from elimination last week. The host then read out a letter from a "fan" called Janette Manrara, who has been married to Aljaž for five years, before a segment called Around the world with Aljaž played out.
It saw the Slovenian pro dancer, 32, who recently quit Strictly after nine years, take a look at dance shows across the world and the different themes and ideas they have.

From Dancing with the Stars America - which paid homage to Elvis - to Let's Dance in Sweden and Poland, which had an ABBA theme, Aljaž delved into the different themed weeks these shows had on offer, commentating on the various clips and choreography ideas from each.
Many had viewers intrigued, including that of Let's Dance Germany, which has a 'trio week'. Aljaz told viewers: "Learning to dance from scratch with one partner is hard enough. But can you imagine juggling two?"
Fans loved the segment, but it was the return of Aljaž, himself, that left many taking to Twitter. Fans posted on social media to voice their thoughts, pleading with BBC to make it a regular feature on the much-loved spin-off show.
@hibee_girl wrote: "They need to find a permanent slot for Aljaz on #ittakestwo #StrictlyComeDancing #Strictly" alongside @Dorina335 who added: "Loved this interlude with Aljaž! More of this please #ittakestwo #Strictly."
As @debbieblackman said: "Wonderful to see our darling @AljazSkorjanec back on #ItTakesTwo. He is much missed on #Strictly. What a joyful surprise."
Earlier in the show, Rylan was seen speaking to 21-year-old CBBC star Molly Rainford, after she was saved by the judges following the dance-off on Sunday - especially after receiving such a high score, which saw the pair achieving 8/9/9/9.
She said: "It was difficult. I think we had such a nice time and I really just felt like I'm back, I'm not nervous, I'm not scared any more, the week before I was quite scared after the dance off, but I loved it, so it was tough and I did get a bit emotional but I think that was the overwhelming feeling of 'no, this can't be the last one'."
Of receiving such a brilliant score on Saturday night, Molly said: "I was over the moon, especially the 8 from Craig. I was happy to be on the higher side of Craig's paddles. It meant the world because he could see my improvement and that I was really trying to better each dance. That meant a lot and obviously three 9s is amazing."
Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC1 on Saturday, November 12. Strictly It Takes Two returns every weekday on BBC2.
