BBC Happy Valley star makes request to fans ahead of new episode

Happy Valley fans have been hit with a two-word message from the character everyone loves to hate.

The hit BBC show returned for its hotly-anticipated final series earlier this month. Every episode so far has had viewers gripped from start to finish.

And all eyes are now on Tommy Lee Royce following his escape from prison.

Fans of the show will know by now how truly evil he is. His return to the show, despite being in prison, came after Sergeant Catherine Cawood discovered that her grandson Ryan, and her late daughter's rapist, was visiting his dad behind bars.

And in what was another huge blow to Catherine, it transpired it was her sister, Clare, and her partner, Neil, who had facilitated the visits.

Ahead of the latest instalment of the BBC show on Sunday, Tommy actor James Norton has shared a two-word request to viewers. Sharing a snap of himself as Tommy, complete with scars across his forehead, James simply said: "Don’t blink.

"9pm tonight #happyvalley @bbciplayer".

Fans have been quick to comment on the Instagram post, as they eagerly await the newest episode. Kate said: "Excited, terrified, deeply concerned…can’t wait!", while Anne said: "So excited for tonight!"

Jilly said: "Counting the hours until 9pm tonight". Felicity said: "I don't want this to end, love this show so much. And everyone in it deserves a BAFTA". Dawn said: "Only time you don't mind Sunday night coming round again. Can't wait to see what happens next".
