Si King and Dave Myers have left fans disappointed as they issued a 'sad' update' about their television series. The pair, best known to fans as the Hairy Bikers, have been delighting viewers with their latest series, Hairy Bikers Go Local series.
Airing on the BBC, it has seen the friends and co-stars playing matchmaker by bringing together the best local restaurants with the most innovative local suppliers. Each week, the duo base themselves in a different region and meet with local chefs in the hopes of inspiring them to find new ingredients from producers that they can showcase on their menus.
And the show, which was filmed before Dave's cancer diagnosis and treatment, has mostly gone down a treat with fans. However, taking to social media, Dave and Si revealed the "sad" news that the show is already over after eight episodes.
