BBC Hairy Bikers fans 'gutted' after 'sad' update

BBC Hairy Bikers Si King and Dave Myers have left fans gutted with a "sad" update.

Si and Dave have sadly shared the Go Local series has wrapped up and ended, and fans are devastated it's over already. The BBC series sees the pair on a mission to bring together the best local restaurants with the most innovative local suppliers.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday, the Hairy Bikers said: “Sadly, the series has come to an end. We hope you enjoyed the series and the journey we went through with each episode, we look forward to seeing you on your telly sometimes soon.”

They added: “Be sure to catch all of the episodes from GO LOCAL on iPlayer! All recipes can be found on the @bbcgoodfood website. Love Si and Dave.”

Many fans were clearly upset by the news, as reported in Birmingham Live. Carol said: "It was too short!!!! Need more screen time with you guys!!!! Xxx"

Lindsey said: "Absolutely gutted, more soon please". Jeremy said: "Loved every episode", while Ashley-Jane said: "Loved this series."
