Gentleman Jack viewers are all saying the same thing following the penultimate episode of season 2. The second series of the popular period drama, which is based on the real-life diaries of Anne Lister, will come to an end on Sunday, May 29.
Season 3 of the BBC One drama, which is written by Sally Wainwright and stars Suranne Jones, Sophie Rundle and Lydia Leonard, is yet to be announced and viewers are predicting that series 2 final will end on a cliffhanger, despite no confirmation that the Gentleman Jack will be returning.
Following the penultimate episode, one fan wrote on Twitter: "Lots of tension between the Ann(e)s in Ep7. And we know they have another fight (at least one) in the last episode. Not feeling good about this. Are we headed for a cliffhanger? #GentlemanJack2 #GentlemanJack."
