A £6k makeover to turn a garden into an Italian retreat has been described by Garden Rescue viewers as the 'worst' makeover they'd ever seen.
Viewers were less than impressed with the makeover on Tuesday's programme on the BBC, which was described as looking like a 'building site.'

In the latest episode, couple Karen and Colin from Romsey asked for their garden to be transformed into a 'relaxing retreat' where Karen could unwind after work.
As a reverend at a hospital, it had been explained that Karen's job was especially "challenging" as it involved end-of-life support, The Mirror reported.
The couple, who had a love for Italy, wanted an 'Italian feel' to their garden and a space to entertain family and friends. They had a budget of £6,000 for the transformation.
The couple chose Charlie's vision for their garden after hearing pitches from both her and the Rich brothers.
Charlie's design included creating a pergola, a water feature made out of terracotta and buying an olive tree, which cost £500 and boulders, which cost £540.
Karen and Colin were impressed with the transformation that had taken place, describing their new garden described as "wonderful" when they first saw it.
But while the couple were happy with their new garden, those who tuned into the programme were not so keen.
“This is the worst garden rescue I’ve seen,” one viewer wrote, as a second agreed: “It looks like a building site," one viewer tweeted.
"This is the worst #gardenrescue I've seen," another tweeted.
One wrote: "Anyone seen #gardenrescue? I'd be like f*** if I came home and [someone] had done that to my garden. And it only cost £6,000, I honestly can't believe it."
