EastEnders fans were outraged by Tiffany Butcher's school uniform on tonight's episode.
Tiff, played by actress Maisie Smith, was talking to Jack Branning, played by Scott Maslen, as he has been helping her after her rape ordeal.
But some were distracted by Tiffany's uniform, which seemed to break a number of rules.
Her tie hung very loosely around her neck, while her shirt was folded up, exposing her mid-drift, rather than tucked in her waistband, an order many will have heard as a child. She also opted for white trainers, rather than black school shoes.
Viewers felt that Walford High School must have a very relaxed uniform policy.
Some made comparisons with Britney Spear's now iconic (and for some, problematic) music video 'Hit Me Baby One More Time'.
One said: "I don't know what school that Tiffany attends dressed like this. Proper little scrub....Where is Bianca?"
Another said: "Does Tiff ever go to school ??!! And if she ever does ... How on earth is she getting away with that 'uniform'?"
A third said: "Tiffany on her way to film a Brittany Spears tribute video"
A fourth tweeted: "Tiff's skirt wtf"
A fifth added: "The school in # eastenders must not care about school uniform..."
