The aim of the BBC One show Dragons' Den is to walk away with the investment of dreams. But although one Welsh woman who entered the den did not come away with her desired investment, she did not leave empty-handed.
Mared, from Porthcawl, started her pitch for her handbag range by saying "shwmae" to the Dragons. After that, however, her pitch did not go well. You can keep up to date with the latest TV and showbiz news by signing up to our dedicated newsletter here.
She admitted she was a "designer and not a business lady", that she had only sold two of her handbags so far and forgot to tell the Dragons how much she was asking for and what percentage of her business they would receive. Mared said: "Oh sorry guys, I'm very nervous" and also became a little emotional while talking about how her products were sustainable and eco-friendly.

Mared also added: "I'm kind of a free spirit, I'm not allowed to tell you guys that, I'm definitely a designer and not a business lady". After being asked by Peter Jones, Mared told the Dragons she wanted £30,000 for 20% of her business.
Although none of the experts wanted to invest in Mared they all loved her personality. Dragon and founder of British menswear brand Hawes & Curtis, Touker Suleyman, did give Mared his email address so that she could go to him for advice with her business.
Touker said: "I'm not going to invest, I'm out. But what I am willing to do is give you my email address and you can email me and my team and we will help you when we can." Mared was very grateful for the advice, and said: "Thank you so much, I really need that."
Dragons' Den airs on Wednesdays on BBC One at 8pm.
