Countryfile star Adam Henson has issued fans with an update on social media form his hospital bed after undergoing surgery.
Henson made clear has was struggling with pain during the autumn and the 56-year-old farmer said he went under the knife for a hip resurfacing operation.
The Mirror reports that after it begun to affect his everyday life, Adam decided to go ahead with the surgery. In a video showing him lying in a hospital bed, Adam says: "It's now been pretty much 12 hours since I had my hip resurfacing operation.

"The feeling in my legs and waist have all come back now, pretty much my right leg, which is the leg I had done, is still a bit tingly and a bit weird. I've never really had surgery quite like this before, it does make me feel for all those people that have gone through things an awful lot worse."
Adam added that his recovery so far has been more painful than he believed it would be, admitting that he was "very lucky" to have a strong team on the farm to look after matters in his absence.
He said: "I'm very lucky to have a strong team on the farm who can do all the work. In three or four weeks' time, hopefully, I'll be back out and about," he said from his home."
