BBC viewers were baffled as King Charles III was officially crowned.
The monarch received the crown at a ceremony at Westminster Abbey today. The service was conducted by The Most Reverend and Right Honourable Justin Welby, Lord Archbishop of Canterbury, Primate of all England and Metropolitan.
The investiture and the crowning saw the King receive regal items such as the Royal sceptre, orb and robe. The Archbishop then placed the crown on the King's head for the first time at the ceremony.

However, viewers following the ceremony on Twitter were concerned as they were concerned the crown struggled to fit the new monarch. Carbi said: "Does it fit?"
Kay posted: "Thought the crown wasn’t gonna fit for a second there." Patricia commented: "Sorry, not sorry, but the “screwing” the crown on Charle’s head to endure proper fit was truly hilarious."
Norman tweeted: "Had to jam it on there a bit - but it fits." Chay posted: "Wow they really had to wedge that crown on didn't they? Not sure which was a tighter fit, the crown or the glove thing."
Similarly, when Queen Camila was crowned she was seen fixing her hair around the crown.
