BBC Breakfast viewers say Apprentice winner Marnie Swindells 'blended in' with the sofa when she appeared on Saturday morning's episode. Her crimson outfit matched the sofa, viewers pointed out, as she was interviewed by Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt, Birmingham Live reports.
And viewers have described the issue as amounting to an awkward wardrobe malfunction. Boxing gym owner Marnie was interviewed fresh from winning The Apprentice on Thursday night after defeating Rochelle Anthony in a tense final.
On Twitter, a fan wrote: "Perfect camouflage with the sofa." A second asked: "Why didn't they pre-warn this woman that she would be sat on a red sofa." Another chipped in saying: "She blends in well with the sofa."

Addressing her win, Marnie said: "Walking away from a career that I literally tortured myself to get was hard, but you know what's harder? Staying in a place when you know you have more to give." She added: "Don't play it safe, don't get comfortable and don't ever settle for less than what you are capable of. Be bold enough to close one chapter, in order to open the next."
She wrote on Instagram: "I've been wracking my brains wondering what to write. What CAN you write when one of the biggest names in business just chose YOU to be his business partner. I'm nothing but a 28 year old girl with a taste for hard work and some big dreams just trying to make a life for herself different from the one she knew.
"I have so much to say, but at the same time, I'm speechless. I feel empowered, but overwhelmed. Confident and terrified in equal measure. All the lines are blurred right now, but if there is one thing I can say with absolute clarity it's this: There is NOTHING in this life that is off limits. No room you cannot enter, no wall to high and no door you can't knock down if you just bang hard enough."
She added: "@lord_sugar I want to thank you for gracing me with the opportunity that thousands of people would kill for. I understand the magnitude of what it means and its an honour that I will never take lightly, you have my word." She continued: "Now all that talk is out the way, lets get down to business; the hurt business."
