The wardrobe choice of a BBC presenter has led to compliments from viewers. Sally Nugent and Jon Kay presented BBC Breakfast on Tuesday (March 21) - and viewers couldn't help but notice her attire.
As usual, Jon was suited for the morning programme sporting a navy suit, shirt and a red tie, while Sally opted for a slightly different look. She hosted in a purple biker jacket with gold zip detailing, paired with figure hugging black trousers and heels. The look drew the attention of several viewers who took to social media to point out the outfit choice.
Fans taking to Twitter wrote: "Biker girl vibes from @sallynugent this morning, gorgeous jacket." Another asked: "Has @sallynugent just come straight from clubbing in Manchester?"

It isn't the first time that Sally has styled out the jacket of the programme. The Mirror reported that back in January she was complimented on the item by Twitter users. "Loving the biker look, can't wait for Newswatch complainers :)," one fan tweeted at the time. Another said: "Loving your top this morning. Please can you tell me where it’s from?!" A third added alongside a screenshot of Sally: "Who's the rock chick on the sofa?"
Meanwhile, one fan questioned why the male presenters wear suits on BBC Breakfast while female presenters are able to sport more "fabulous" outfits. They wrote: "How come the female presenters on @BBCBreakfast get to dress more fabulous and more casual than the male presenters who have to dress in more stiff looking suit and ties? I love what @sallynugent is wearing. Men should be able to be more casual as well."
Jon returned to BBC Breakfast on Tuesday after he was missing from his usual spot on the show's first programme of the week. Sally and Jon present the show Monday through to Wednesday while Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt take over until Saturday. A host of rotating presenters present the show on Sundays.
BBC Breakfast airs on BBC One daily from 6am.
