BBC Breakfast presenter Sally Nugent has shown off an incredible transformation as she breaks her silence after her marriage split.
The mum-of-one took to Instagram over the weekend to flaunt her new look.
Fans of the journalist rushed to the comments to compliment the star, days after her divorce was reported.
The 51-year-old cut a glam figure in a series of snaps posted to her social media account, where she boasts 67,000 followers.
The BBC Breakfast host- who presents each Monday to Wednesday alongside co-star Jon Kay - has split from husband Gavin Hawthorn.
But she looked amazing in a sequin top and jeans as she had the finishing touches to her make-up applied, reports Birmingham Live.
Last week, reports of the couple split shocked fans, with viewers supporting Sally as she returned to the red sofa on Monday.
"It's very sad but they are no longer together," an insider close to the couple said last week.
"I think they tried to tough it out for quite a while as they didn't want to split up if they could possibly help it for the sake of their son but they clearly couldn't make a go of it.
"They've both been very guarded about the reasons behind their growing apart but it's been plain for a while that they had been and now it's obvious that they haven't been able to resolve that despite clearly trying for some time."
Sally's former husband, Gavin pursued a successful career in marketing, working for multinational hotel chains before joining pet superstore business Pets At Home.
Sally, meanwhile, has seen her career go from strength to strength in recent years.
The star presents Breakfast alongside an array of other stars - including Jon, Naga Munchetty, pregnant Nina Warhurst, Charlie Stayt and Ben Thompson.
She became a regular presenter for BBC Breakfast following the departure of Louise Minchin in 2021.
The couple, who have a teenage son, live in a gated mansion in Hale.
