BBC Breakfast's Naga Munchetty took a cheeky swipe at her co-star after he pointed out she had appeared to lose interest in his weather report.
Broadcaster Matt Taylor joined Naga and co-anchor Charlie Stayt in the MediaCity UK-based studio as he revealed that those heading to Glastonbury Festival will be in for a dry weekend.
However, ahead of delivering his weather forecast, Matt appeared to suggest that Naga had lost interest as she and Matt joked about it.
Meteorologist Matt explained that he'd been enjoying watching the sun rise across Manchester, before adding that Charlie had also made time to admire the view.
Anchor Charlie impressed Matt as he spoke about the "special glaze" you see while watching the early morning sunrise across a cloudy skyline.
"It was absolutely stunning," said Charlie before adding: "Is it peak sunrise time? Is it such a thing?" before Matt explained that there isn't and the clouds helped to admire the scene.
However, as the interaction continued, Naga appeared to kick back and rested her arm on the iconic red cushioned sofa before lowering her head as Matt joked: "Talk about glaze, someone's glazing over, shall we get on with the forecast?"
But in a hilarious quip, Naga responded: "You're very observant, Matthew," before the pair instantly started giggling as Matt explained there had been a "beautiful sunrise for many".
The exchange continued later on in the broadcast as Charlie and Naga returned to Matt for an updated weather report.
"We're going to talk to you aren't we," said Naga as she pointed at Matt, before adding: "The stage is set, crowds are ready, the music is on, we're going to talk about Glastonbury in a while, but we need to figure out what the weather is going to be like there and for the rest of the country," as he explained the festival will see some of the driest weather across the country.
In recent days, Naga has been seen keeping her co-star amused as she teased Charlie about the routines that he has both at work and at home.
Following a report that Britons keeping to their habits, Charlie was hoping to reveal that he has a favourite ring on his stove at home, although Naga didn't ask him.
Reflecting on the story, Naga said: "So I was looking at this list, right - just say yay or nay. Sleep on the same side of the bed every night?" before Charlie confirmed he did.
She continued: "Do the same supermarket shop?" however, Charlie responded: "I'm not going to answer all these questions," before adding: "What's the gas ring thing? Can we get to the gas ring?"
"Have tea in the same mug every day?" Naga went on to ask, as Charlie replied: "No, no, no no. Well, I do when I'm here..."
