Naga Munchetty has been missing from BBC Breakfast for the last week.
The presenter usually hosts the morning show with co-star Charlie Stayt from Thursdays to Saturdays.
Sally Nugent and Jon Kay take over the reins for the rest of the week.
However, the 48-year-old hasn't been by her co-host's side on the sofa since last week.
On Thursday morning, Charlie was joined by Nina Warhurst.
The presenter is well known on the BBC and regularly guest hosts when the main presenter is absent.
It's not clear whether Naga will return alongside her usual co-host Charlie on Friday or whether she will miss this week's BBC Breakfast entirely.
Naga hasn't commented on her absence from BBC Breakfast.
Earlier this month, Naga hit back at her colleague after a cheeky joked was made about her age.
Naga and Charlie, 60, had to defend themselves against accusations that they were both getting old.
She welcomed sports correspondent Jane Dougall who was running through the weekend action.
Jane explained why age is proving no barrier when Essex faced Lancashire on earlier this month.
Jane said: "There's 78 years experience on the pitch there, I love it.
"I love that the older players are showing the younger players how it's done."
Smiling, Naga replied: "Don't ever underestimate experience."
Jane cheekily told her: "Exactly... there's a coach full of it here!"
Naga quipped: "Thanks Jane, we're old, thanks."
The host did laugh off the cheeky quip and ended the segment with a smile, so it seemed as if she took the comment on the chin.
Fans on twitter were glad to see her back and immediately tweeted their delight.
One said: "Naga in superb****y mode this morning #BBCBreakfast".
A second added: "Looking stunning today Naga x".
