BBC Breakfast was halted on Tuesday as a "protestor" interrupted a live feed from Salford Quays.
Nina Warhurst was reporting live from an ice cream van as she discussed food inflation. The presenter told viewers food prices had risen by 17.3% up to March of this year.
But before Nina, 42, could continue a man appeared on the screen before then beginning to shout at her.

Nina was unable to continue for a few seconds before she then moved away from the man and carried on from another area nearby. Hosts Sally Nugent and John Kay, who were back in the studio, moved quickly to reassure those watching at home.
John said: "There is clearly a lot of demand for ice cream this morning", while Sally added: "Do you know what? Don't mess with our Nina".
Sally then told the camera: "Nina is not alone, she has company, and she will be completely fine".
Fans of the show were clearly impressed with how Nina handled the situation. Taking to Twitter, Zan said: "A guy just started protesting live on BBC Breakfast. Not sure over what. Nina Warhurst dealt with it so well. I'd be bricking it."
Caroline said: "Don't mess with Nina!" while Charlotte said: "Nina handled that incredibly well". Christopher said: "That man is very passionate about the price of ice cream going up."
