BBC announcement leaves Coronation Concert viewers 'gutted' over missing Royal Family member

Viewers of the Coronation Concert were gutted as a member of the Royal family was missing from tonight's show.

A huge concert was staged on Sunday to mark the coronation of King Charles III. 20,000 people gathered on the East Lawn of Windsor Castle to enjoy a star-studded gig to commemorate the occasion.

Acts such as Lionel Richie, Olly Murs and Take That took to the stage for the event. However, some viewers were disappointed as the King took his seat at the show.

The King and Queen Camilla were greeted at their seats by Prince William, Princess Kate and their two children, George and Charlotte. A BBC announcement confirmed their youngest son, Louis, was not in attendance at the show.

Kirsty Young said: "Little Louis is only five and it way past his bedtime and he had a pretty busy day yesterday." Louis' cheeky antics at public events have been a hit with Royal fans.

Viewers following the concert on Twitter were gutted the Prince wasn't there at tonight's show.

Laura said: "Gutted no Louis"

Helen added: "Where is Louis?? We need his dance moves!

Jo Jo commented: "Prince Louis would've been the HIGHLIGHT of the night for sure if he was her"

Jen tweeted: "Gutted star of the show Prince Louis isn't there, love that tiny terror he'd liven this up"

Emma posted: "Where’s the little legend Louis?!"
