Harry Kane has been selected to start for Bayern Munich this evening as they take on Celtic at the Allianz Arena.
The England captain was on the scoresheet as the Bundesliga club triumphed 2-1 winners in their UEFA Champions League knockout stage first leg against the Hoops last Wednesday.
However, the 31-year-old sustained a facial injury during a league clash at Bayer Leverkusen over the weekend, leading to concerns about his wellbeing ahead of this pivotal European showdown.
Kane played the full 90 minutes in the 0-0 draw against Leverkusen. But he missed Bayern's training session on Monday as a precaution.
Manager Vincent Kompany had suggested that the issue was only minor as he told a press conference on Monday, "let's see."
And Kane does lead the line, news Celtic probably weren't hoping to receive.
