Bayern Munich have reportedly joined the race to sign Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan.
Gundogan was City's hero on Sunday when his brace secured the Premier League title at the Etihad Stadium. The German still has a year remaining on his contract in Manchester and played 43 times this season.
However, according to TZ, the Bundesliga giants are keen on the 31-year-old. It is claimed that Pep Guardiola is willing to sell Gundogan for £17m - a valuation that has also alerted Arsenal.

Elsewhere, a host of clubs including newly-promoted Bournemouth and Fulham are interested in City defender Ko Itakura. The 25-year-old Japanese centre back has yet to play for Guardiola's first team and his contract at the Etihad expires in 2023.
According to Sky Sports, Schalke have an option to buy Itakura for £6m, however, that may be out of their budget. This has reportedly opened the door for the Japanese player to join Bournemouth or Fulham, while Celtic are also believed to be interested in his services.
