Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl has confirmed Mathys Tel wants to leave the club.
Standard Sport understands Chelsea have previously made an inquiry to sign the Frenchman earlier in the window, while Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United have also been linked.
Tel appeared to have said goodbye to Bayern supporters following their 3-1 win over Slovan Bratislava on Wednesday night.
The win means the German giants finished 12th in the Champions League table and could face either Celtic or Manchester City in next month’s two-legged play-off to reach the last 16.
After the game, the 19-year-old was seen walking over to the Bayern fans and applauding them, giving his jacket away and taking selfies.

Speaking after the game, Eberl said: “We spoke in December, and Mathys said he wanted to assert himself.
“Now he has said he would like to leave. Now we have to consider whether we will do it and what we will do."
