Bayern Munich sports director Max Eberl admitted they were delighted to escape the 'seething cauldron of Paradise' with a win.
The German giants took a narrow first leg lead back to Bavaria in the Champions League play-offs after a pulsating tie at Celtic.
England captain Harry Kane netted his 61st European goal of his career in just 77 starts for Bayern and Spurs to grab what turned out to be the winner.
And Eberl was hugely impressed with the Parkhead atmosphere.
He said: "Every win is good for us and now we've made it out of this seething cauldron they call Paradise. "This was really hard work tonight and required a lot of legwork. Now, we can't afford to lower our level of performance after that.
"I read that Celtic hadn't lost at home in 35 games. So obviously, that makes it an important win for us too.

"This just feels good for what lies ahead in an important spell for us.
"You could tell the team woke up pretty quickly because we were all quite shocked initially with the atmosphere.
"We improved during the course of the game and eventually scored and took a well-deserved 2-0 lead. But it was unnecessary to concede from a set-piece and it made it a nervous finish, but overall this was a complicated away game and we deserved the win.
"I thought Dayot Upamecano deserved his Man of the Match award. He is an outstanding central defender and he showed that at Celtic."
