A man was shot in south London on Tuesday night with police seeking the gunman.
Officers at the Met Police were called to Fairchild Close in Battersea just after 11pm to reports of a man with gunshot wounds.
Paramedics rushed the 28-year-old man to hospital. His condition is currently unknown.
Police said: “Trident detectives from the Met's Specialist Crime Command are carrying out enquiries to establish the circumstances.
“At this early stage of the investigation, no arrests have been made.”
One resident said she heard “four gunshots”, saying the area is “a crime scene”.
Pictures of the scene posted on social media showed a silver car taped off at the junction with nearby Wye Street.
