Thermae Bath Spa says it has investigated a complaint from a customer that a couple were allegedly engaging in inappropriate behaviour in its rooftop pool. The world-famous tourist spot attracts thousands of customers each year, but one recent visitor was been left "extremely disappointed".
Jess, 28, whose last name will not be included, was visiting Bath for one day and night on Saturday, March 13. Along with her partner, they had planned to have a relaxing visit to Thermae Bath Spa in the early evening.
Jess claims that the couple were "having sex" in the rooftop pool. Thermae Bath Spa has said it has "investigated thoroughly" via CCTV and asking staff and found no indication of the alleged behaviour, reports Somerset Live.

Jess said: "On a recent visit to Thermae Bath Spa (March 13) I saw a couple openly having sex in the rooftop swimming pool. When I raised it to customer services, they got back to me after two weeks offering me 50 per cent discount if I return to the spa, and nothing more."
Jess said she understood the spa had checked CCTV footage and found no indication of the alleged behaviour but felt that they should have done more to apologise for what she thought she had experienced.
The 28-year-old said: "We paid £42 per person to go. If you went to any other spa they would bend over backwards to apologise and possibly give a full refund. I'm extremely disappointed in how they've responded. I wouldn't ever go back there, it was a waste of money."
Thermae Bath Spa has said it trains staff in how to deal with guests being "overly tactile". A spokesman for the spa said: "We have had a complaint of this nature to which we have responded to the guest.
"As mentioned to the guest in our response, the incident was investigated thoroughly and our findings were as follows. CCTV footage was checked and staff were questioned, the footage in question showed no indication of the alleged behaviour and this was confirmed by the pool attendant who monitors the rooftop pool.
"No other customers during the duration of Jess's visit have made any complaints or comments regarding inappropriate behaviour. We also have a section on our website regarding pool etiquette as well being displayed in all the changing areas.
"While we cannot prevent our guests being overly tactile, our staff are fully trained to deal with such incidences in a respectful and courteous manner."
