Bartenders all over the world come across a wide variety of people and drink orders.
However, one bartender has sparked a debate after criticising a specific type of customer that grinds their gears. Jemima June, who goes by @jemimajune_ on TikTok, spoke of making an example of a customer who expected to have more alcohol in their drink just by asking for 'no ice'.
The viral bartended, who has racked up more than seven million views on their video, reminded a customer that 'no ice' does not equate to more alcohol. In her video, the customer can be heard asking for a tequila cranberry with no ice, the Mirror reports.

But, once the drink is served, the customer repeats "no ice", to which Jemima responds: "There's no ice in that. Do you want a double tequila cranberry?"
She told him: "Just because you say 'no ice' doesn't mean you're going to get more alcohol. Double means you're going to get more alcohol."
Despite staying calm throughout the conversation, some have accused her of being "rude" to the customer. One user said: "I don't like ice on my drinks because I sip it and I don't like the ice melting and watering down my drink."
Another user added: "What if his throat hurts and that’s why he’s asking for no ice." A third user said: "When you literally just don’t want your drink getting watery..."
However, other viewers affirm that the bartender did nothing wrong and said they understood what the customer was trying to do in this situation. One user said: "The people saying you have an attitude clearly have never worked in the industry! It happens constantly and these customers need to be lectured."
"The amount of times I’ve had to deal with this same situation. They really think no ice means more alcohol - not how that works", said another user.
One more user added: "I always use the line 'You gotta pay a little more to get a little more'. It usually shuts them up."
