Marvel star Barry Keoghan has confirmed that he is set to become a dad as he celebrated an emotional Father’s Day today.
The Eternals actor had been rumoured to be expecting a new baby with his partner Alyson Sandro earlier this year.
But he broke his silence online today after he posted a photo of a box of Cadbury’s chocolate with the words “World’s Number 1 Daddy” along with a mug saying “The Daddy of all Daddies”.

In the background of the photo was a collection of images, including the scan of a baby as well as the words “First Father’s Day”.
Keoghan was also treated to a special breakfast of a sausage and egg roll.
The moving image was captioned “Honestly feel like crying”.
In March the Dubliner posted on a picture on image of the couple embracing at what seemed to be a gender reveal party with traditional blue and pink balloons.
He was just one of a number of well-known faces from the world of showbiz to take to social media on Father’s Day.
The fiancée of newly-engaged Republic of Ireland soccer star Alan Browne, who scored against Scotland at the Aviva earlier this month, wrote a tribute to her future husband.
Stunning mother of two Shauna Lyons posted a photo of him online with her children, saying: “Happy Father’s Day Al, no words will describe how great you are and how much you do for our family. We adore you.
“You are the best Daddy to Hugo and we are all just so lucky to have you in our lives.”
Boyzone star Keith Duffy wrote a heartfelt message to his late father Sean who passed away on 8th January after a two decade long battle with cancer.
Posting an image of him with his father on Instagram, he said: “Hey Dad, our first Father’s Day where we have to remember the past.
“I’ll think of you through teary eyes and a broken heart today but I will try to find a smile and be strong for you.”
Celebrity Chef Neven Maguire described fatherhood as the “greatest gift in life”.
Posting an image of Praline Chocolates, beautiful handwritten cards on his Twitter account he said: “Wishing you all a very happy Father’s Day for me being a dad is one of the greatest gifts in life. I’m getting spoiled today.”
Ronan Keating marked his Father’s Day with a gig in Birmingham and thanked fans for their supported.
Posting on Instagram he said: “Gonna take a while to come down. Day off [on Sunday] to celebrate all the Father’s and then on to South End”. Ronan’s daughter Missy posted a pic of her with her dad on Instagram wishing him Happy Father’s Day.
