Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst looks a concerned man at the moment, according to Ibrox hero Barry Ferguson.
The former midfielder has been left unhappy with the Light Blues' performance levels as they hit another bump in the road this term on Saturday during a 1-1 draw against 10-man Livingston at Ibrox. Only a John Lundstram goal in stoppage time saved them from complete shock but performances have been on the decline for weeks, factored in with lamented summer recruitment and a disastrous Champions League campaign.
Ahead of taking on Napoli and Aberdeen this week, Record Sport columnist Ferguson senses the Rangers manager is far from pleased and that it's beginning to show. He said on Go Radio: "I am listening to Gio doing his interviews. He looks worried. He looks frustrated. He looks angry and I totally get that. But he is totally honest and he knows the fans ain't happy.
"He knows they need to be better within games. That was a sore one on Saturday. It was a hard watch. Livingston go ahead after four minutes and Rangers just didn't get going.
"During the game, at no stage did I feel that Rangers were going to score. They got out of jail with Lundstram scoring in (stoppage) time but it's worrying times, no doubt about it.
"The fans, you can hear them, they're not happy during and after the game, and rightly so. We just need to see what this week brings. Hopefully a more spirited performance but we'll see."
