Interim Rangers boss Barry Ferguson has confirmed that James Tavernier will continue as the club's captain.
Ferguson returned to Ibrox on Monday as head coach following Philippe Clement's dismissal.
A 2-0 defeat to St Mirren in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday was the final straw of the Belgian's 16-month tenure in Govan.

"He [Tavernier] came in last night, and we had a really good chat. I’ve looked him in the eyes, he’s ready to give 100%."
Ferguson has brought in a backroom team of Neil McCann, Allan McGregor and Billy Dodds as he navigates Rangers to the end of the season.
The 47-year-old has held previous managerial positions at Alloa Athletic, Clyde and Kelty Hearts, but none as big as his current job.
Things kick off for Ferguson and Co. tomorrow night when Rangers travel to face Kilmarnock, aiming to bounce back from the weekend's loss to St Mirren.
