Rangers interim manager Barry Ferguson made it clear that he will NEVER accept a point as an acceptable outcome, despite his side battling back from two goals down to secure a 2-2 draw against Aberdeen at Pittodrie.
The Light Blues were forced to play with 10 men from the 40th minute after Ross McCausland was shown a red card by referee Steven McLean following two bookable offences.
Already trailing by a goal, Rangers found themselves up against it when Aberdeen’s Pape Gueye doubled the lead with a close-range finish, adding to Leighton Clarkson’s opener.
With the odds stacked against them, Ferguson’s men faced a tough challenge.
However, Hamza Igamane sparked a second-half revival for Rangers, and it wasn't until the sixth minute of stoppage time that they found their equaliser.
Cyriel Dessers’ strike cannoned off the post, but the ball fell to Ianis Hagi, who made no mistake, drilling the ball past Aberdeen goalkeeper Ross Doohan to secure a late point.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the match, Ferguson praised his team’s resilience under difficult circumstances but made it clear that his hunger for victory would never waver.
"Am I happy with a point? No, I'm never happy with a point. I want to win games," Ferguson said. "But under the circumstances, going down to 10 men, we have to take it and we will go down the road and all focus now goes on Thursday [versus Athletic Bilbao]."
Reflecting on McCausland being given an early bath, Ferguson admitted: “Good comeback. Obviously down to 10 men, this is a reoccurring theme getting men sent off. I just spoke to Ross at half-time and after the game and said, 'you can't be making mistakes like that when you are on a booking.'
"Maybe at that stage, when he got booked, because he had a couple of tackles, maybe I should've made the decision earlier to substitute him. But look, it happened, he got correctly a second yellow, red card, and then it's backs to the wall stuff again."

“I kind of changed it at half-time with personnel. I just had to get midfielders in who are used to playing that kind of way, and thankfully we found a way back into the game," he explained.
