Barry Ferguson has picked his Rangers XI to for the Champions League crunch with Union Saint-Gilloise as he made a big calls over Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst confirmed in his pre-match press conference yesterday that Light Blues attacker Kent had won his race against time to claim a spot in his squad for the huge Ibrox showdown. Fergie is in no doubt the former Liverpool man will get the nod on the left of the attack if he wakes up today injury and pain free.
Fans' favourite Morelos made his long-awaited return from injury as he climbed off the bench for the final 26 minutes of the Premiership win over Kilmarnock. The Colombian made it a perfect day by finding the back of the net to make it 2-0 to the home side and while his involvement brought a buzz and excitement amongst his team-mates and the supporters, the former Rangers skipper reckons starting the match may just be too soon.

The Belgians hold a two-goal advantage from last week's first meeting with the winner advancing to the Champions League play-off round to face one of Monaco or PSV with a spot in the lucrative group stages alongside Celtic the big prize on offer at that stage.
Speaking on Go Radio about the team he would start with, the Ibrox legend said: "Jon McLaughlin, I don't think Gio is going to change his mind, he's Rangers' number one. I'll go a back four of Tav, Goldson, Davies and Yilmaz.
"Steven Davis and Lundstram. Tillman, Arfield, Kent and Colak up front.
"I would love to say Morelos, but I just think it's a bit too early for him to start. Having a guy of his quality on the bench, no doubt come half-time or even 60 minutes, he'll be on the pitch.
"Tillman and Arfield will interchange and Kent will start on the left if he wakes up tomorrow morning and he's injury and pain free, which hopefully he is, he starts for me.
"Missing a week I don't think will make a difference because he's done the full pre-season and played every game. His fitness will still be there.
"I think he'll go Colak up front. I'd love to start Morelos but it's just a bit too soon. To have him sitting on the bench, 100 percent he'll come on.
"Don't be surprised if he throws him in."
