Barry Ferguson hopes Allan McGregor remains at Rangers - but has tipped St Johnstone goalkeeper Zander Clark as a possible replacement.
Fergie is a big fan of his old teammate and has been full of praise.
McGregor hit 40-years-old recently but Ferguson believes there's a lot left in the tank.
He did make a pair of howlers in a recent 3-3 draw with Ross County but his heroics against Celtic last week prevented an even bigger margin of defeat.
That's why Ferguson believes he's still got it.
Though Clark would be a good fit to replace him.
"I think it's highlighted with the mistakes he made up at Ross County," the 44-year-old told GO Radio.
"I can count on one hand the mistakes Greegsy has made over the years. Look, he's not getting any younger, I know that.
"He's 40, but he's still in good condition.
"After those mistakes you saw what type of character he is. You saw the performance he had against Celtic because it could have been six or seven without Allan McGregor.
"He's not getting any younger but I still think he's a top keeper and it'll be up to Allan. He has had injuries in the past. He had a back problem three or four years ago, I know that's the reason he stopped playing international football.
"But if he feels he's up for it he'll continue for another season. Jon McLaughlin is a really good backup keeper, I really like him. Zander Clark is another, St Johnstone have had a poor season but Zander is still performing at a high level.
"I'd like to see him stay. He's old enough to make his own mind up but I still think there's football left in Allan McGregor."
