Mike Perry has shared a contract he signed to fight Jake Paul next month, but has accused the YouTuber of not holding up his end of the deal.
Former UFC star turned bare-knuckle boxer Perry, 31, shared the contract on his Twitter account which showed a bout agreement to face Paul at 185lb on February 18. A location and venue for the fight were not included in the bout agreement. Perry captioned the post "Wya", which is short for "where you at", and went on to write: "I signed a contract to fight Jake Paul but he changed his mind."
"I fought a 27-3 pro boxer, I am currently 3-0 in the last two years as a boxer," he wrote. "I am a boxer and can beat any boxer/fighter at 175-185. Give me a real boxing match and I prove it. Cuz we know they not stepping in Bare Knuckle FC with me. ASAP too." Perry is a combat sports veteran who has competed in boxing, bare-knuckle boxing and the UFC.

'Platinum' fought 15 times in the UFC and was once a promising contender at welterweight, picking up impressive knockout wins against the likes of Danny Roberts and Alan Jouban. The brash fighter failed to ever reach the upper echelon of his division as he ended his stint in the promotion with a record of eight wins and seven losses.
Perry also called for a fight against former opponent Donald Cerrone, who also recently opened the door for a fight with Paul. 'Cowboy', who submitted Perry when they fought in 2018, spent over a decade fighting in the UFC but parted ways with the promotion last year.
“Would I like to fight him? How could I say no to millions of dollars? I would definitely go out there and do it, but I’m not sitting here saying, ‘Jake you’re a YouTuber, you’re not worth a f**k, blah blah blah.’ The Jake Paul phenomenon is kind of crazy, it’s got everyone calling him out. Everyone wants in, and I don’t see why they wouldn’t, that’s a big money fight," Cerrone told Thiccc Boy Studios.
Paul played down the UFC veteran's call out by stating that he wants to fight someone close to his age. "I’m kind of tired of beating these old dudes up like that, you know what I’m saying? I’m just trying to get someone in there who is younger, but they’re all scared, honestly. They’re all just trying to protect their record," he told The Schmo.
