Barcelona XI vs Real Madrid: Starting lineup, confirmed team news and injury latest for El Clasico today

Ferran Torres has been picked to fill the considerable boots of Robert Lewandowski in tonight’s Copa del Rey trip to Real Madrid.

Lewandowski played the full 90 minutes of Barcelona’s LaLiga defeat at Almeria at the weekend before the club confirmed he had picked up a thigh injury, ruling him out of El Clasico.

Ansu Fati is fit for the bench after a knee injury with Raphinha and Gavi flanking Torres in a 4-3-3 formation.

Barcelona coach Xavi is deprived of his three first-choice goal creators at the Bernabeu.

Along with Lewandowski, a hamstring injury had already ruled Pedri out of the derby and Ousmane Dembele also misses out with a muscle issue.

Xavi does at least have Ronald Araujo fit after the defender was rested on the bench at Almeria after picking up a knock the previous match.

Barcelona XI: Ter Stegen; Kounde, Araujo, Alonso, Balde; Kessie, Busquets, De Jong; Raphinha, Torres, Gavi.

Subs: Pena, Fati, Christensen, Alba, Garcia, Roberto, Torre, Tenas, Alarcon, Estanis.
