Manchester City have had a successful transfer window, landing Erling Haaland and Kalvin Phillips for around £100million to make them even more formidable.
Their last target is a left-back and Pep Guardiola wants to strengthen in this position after selling Oleksandr Zinchenko to Arsenal. There could be more departures than arrivals over the remaining weeks of the transfer window and Bernardo Silva's future remains uncertain with Barcelona hovering.
Mirror Sport has the latest on their search for a new left-back and an update on Silva.
City set Silva fee for Barcelona
Barca Universal claim Manchester City want nearly 100million euros for Bernardo Silva.
Barcelona continue to be linked with Silva and the Portugal star is understood to be keen on a move to the Nou Camp. However Pep Guardiola is loathed to lose Silva, who has been so key to their success since he joined in 2017.
Reports in Spain claimed Barca could land the midfielder for between 50million and 60million euros, but City are adamant they would want £80million or 94million euros.
City in talks to sign rising Spanish star
The BBC claim Manchester City are in talks with Anderlecht to sign left-back Sergio Gomez.
City need to strengthen in the left-back department after selling Oleksandr Zinchenko to Arsenal and missing out on Marc Cucurella to Chelsea.
Gomez has an excellent pedigree and came through Barcelona's academy and has been capped by Spain at every level from Under-16 to Under-21. It is understood City see Gomez as one for the future and would still continue their search for a senior left-back if they did land him.
City wonderkid moving to Portugal on loan
HITC carry a report from transfer guru Fabrizio Romano claiming teenage wonderkid Kayky is joining Portuguese side Pacos de Ferreira on loan.
City paid Brazilian side Fluminense £15million for Kayky in January and are keen to blood him in one of Europe's top leagues. The 19-year-old Samba winger had offers from Belgium and France and has chosen Portugal. Kayky has had his medical in Portugal and will spend the season on loan with Pacos.
