Barcelona player Ronald Araujo has waxed lyrical about Facundo Pellistri and admits the Manchester United man has 'surprised' him while they have been away together on international duty.
Pellistri, 20, was called up by Uruguay for September games against Iran and Canada where he could win seventh and eighth caps for his country. Should he do so, they will be his first appearances for club or country this season.
Despite heading to Thailand and Australia for the pre-season tour, Pellistri has still not made his competitive debut for United. The club resisted temptations to send him out on loan during the summer transfer window, after he had mixed spells with Deportivo Alaves over the past 18 months.

It was there where he first rubbed shoulders with Araujo, while the players have spent the last few days together with Uruguay as part of their World Cup preparations. Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez and Tottenham star Rodrigo Bentancur are, also, on board with Araujo and Pellistri during this international break.
Speaking about the United talent during an interview with El Pais via Somos Invictos, Araujo said: "I think Facundo Pellistri is surprising. Obviously, we know the quality Fede Valverde, Bentancur, Darwin [Nunez] have... We all know the quality they have, but Facundo has surprised me quite a bit.
"Especially since he hadn't been playing. Also, because of the level that he gave in the national team, he was spectacular.
"We understood each other very well on the right wing. Facundo was the one who surprised me the most."
