Leeds United are 'set to accept' a €58m bid from Barcelona for Raphinha, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano. Romano says that Barcelona have finally submitted an official bid for the Leeds winger, with a deal now in its final stages.
The reported €58m fee could rise to €68m with future add-ons. Romano states that all parties are waiting for Barcelona to register the player, and then the deal will be confirmed.
Raphinha has been linked with a move away from Elland Road this summer, with Barcelona, Chelsea and Arsenal all registering an interest in the Brazilian. He was not included in Jesse Marsch's 25-man squad for Leeds' pre-season tour of Australia this month.
Leeds signed Raphinha from French side Rennes in 2020 for a fee believed to be in the region of £17 million plus add-ons. The winger made 67 appearances for the Whites across two seasons, scoring 17 goals. The 25-year-old also recorded 12 assists during his time in Yorkshire.
Raphinha's last goal for Leeds was on the final day of 2021/22 campaign, where his strike against Brentford helped keep the Whites in the Premier League.
The Brazilian is set to be the second major departure from Elland Road this summer, after Kalvin Phillips joined Manchester City for £45 million earlier this month.
