One of the stars of the hit Northern Irish comedy series Derry Girls is swapping her school uniform for a lot of pink as she is set to star in the new Barbie movie.
The 2023 film based on the iconic doll announced its full star-studded cast on Tuesday, including a former pupil of Our Lady Immaculate College.
Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan is set to play one of the Barbies to feature in the Holywood blockbuster directed by Greta Gerwig.

A premise of the film reads: "After being expelled from 'Barbieland' for being a less-than-perfect doll, Barbie sets off for the human world to find true happiness."
Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling will star as the leading roles of Barbie and Ken, with names such as singer Dua Lipa and new Doctor Who Mcuti Gatwa featuring as alternative Barbie and Ken characters.
A social media teaser of Nicola's role in the film said: "This Barbie is a diplomat".
Taking to Instagram when announcing her involvement in the upcoming movie, the Derry Girls star thanked Gerwig for giving her the role.
She said: "Thank you Greta Gerwig got having me as a tiny part of what I think is the greatest movie ever made.
"See you all in Barbie The Movie".
