Harri Morgan has been named in the Barbarians matchday 23 for their clash against Swansea RFC on Wednesday, alongside a number of Wales internationals and Welsh rugby favourites.
The Ospreys scrum-half and former Wales under-20s international stepped away from the game in April after revealing he had attempted to take his own life in February. Since then, he has spoken about breaking the stigma around mental health as he seeks to ensure others don't suffer in silence.
Now, as the Baa-Baas take on Swansea RFC to mark the Welsh club's 150th anniversary season, Morgan will get a run-out for the famous invitational club - being named on the bench.
Elsewhere, there is a heavy Welsh influence in the Barbarians side, with Steven Shingler and Lewis Jones lining up in a backline alongside former Cardiff centre Rey Lee-Lo. That's supplemented by England international Billy Twelvetrees and Scotland's Damian Hoyland.
In the pack, the presence of Alun Wyn Jones has been well-publicised as he prepares to turn out for both the Baa-Baas and his hometown club in the wake of his international retirement. Alongside him in the Baa-Baas forwards are Wales internationals Kirby Myhill, Bradley Davies and Dan Lydiate, with ex-Cardiff back-row Olly Robinson also featuring.
Joining Morgan on the bench are other familiar names, with Wales internationals Matthew Screech, Sam Cross and Lloyd Williams all involved, as is former Ospreys hooker Elvis Taione.
Welsh rugby favourite Nick Williams will play a part in proceedings, acting as an assistant coach for the Barbarians. The former Cardiff No. 8 revealed last October that he was recovering from a cardiac arrest, thanking medical staff who treated him.
The Arms Park favourite spent four years playing in the Welsh capital before retiring in 2020 and will now help prepare the famous invitational club's squad, who are being coached by former Cardiff coach John Mulvihill. So far, that preparation duty has extended to carrying the boombox at training and being on water duty. However, his involvement could stretch to carrying on more than just water on Wednesday evening, while a traditional Barbarians send-off - like Alun Wyn Jones' conversion attempts on Sunday at Twickenham - could also be in the pipeline.
