A body has been found in a police search for a London woman who went missing in Jamaica last week, according to reports.

Barbara Findley, 58, from west London, has been missing since November 29, according to Jamaica Constabulary.

On Tuesday, a body thought to be that of Ms Findley was found in the southwestern town of Santa Cruz, St Elizabeth, the Times reported.

She was said to have moved to the island five years ago.

Karen Cleary was also found dead in Jamaica on Wednesday after going missing on November 25

A post-mortem examination is still due to be carried out but detectives believe "that the lady that they found is her", Constable Kevon Hanson, of Santa Cruz police, told the newspaper.

Ms Findley's cousin Norma Edwards said: "She had been here five years, maybe a little more.

"She was very bright, very caring, very respectful."

Earlier this week the body of Karen Clearly, 44, also from London, was found buried in a shallow grave on the north eastern coast of Jamaica.

Ms Findley is a photographer from Lambeth Walk in Kensington.
