A pub worker has left the internet divided after sparking a debate over customers asking for 'no ice' in their drinks.
The bartender took to TikTok to make an example of a customer, who expected to be served more alcohol in their drink because they requested no ice. Posting under the name @jemimajune_, in a video that has since racked up more than 7 million views, she can be heard reminding a customer that no ice doesn't equal more alcohol.
The customer can be heard asking for a tequila cranberry with no ice, and after being served his drink, he repeats "no ice", Mirror UK reports . TikTok user Jemima June responds: "There's no ice in that. Do you want a double tequila cranberry?"

She explained: "Just because you say 'no ice' doesn't mean you're going to get more alcohol. Double means you're going to get more alcohol."
While she kept her cool throughout the conversation, she has been accused of being "rude" to the customer. One user replied: "I don't like ice on my drinks because I sip it and I don't like the ice melting and watering down my drink."
Another added: "What if his throat hurts and that’s why he’s asking for no ice." A third explained: "When you literally just don’t want your drink getting watery..."
However, others think the bar tender did nothing wrong, saying they understand what the customer was trying to do in this situation. One user said: "The people saying you have an attitude clearly have never worked in the industry! It happens constantly and these customers need to be lectured."
"The amount of times I’ve had to deal with this same situation. They really think no ice means more alcohol - not how that works", said another user.
One more user added: "I always use the line 'You gotta pay a little more to get a little more'. It usually shuts them up."
