In second place is the popular chain, Banyan in Newcastle city centre, with an overall score of 62.92/110. It scored highly for proximity to the city's universities and drinks selection.
Third place goes to The Purple Peacock scoring 51.41/110. One of Newcastle’s most ‘Instagrammable’ brunch venues with its vibrant decor, the restaurant scored well for their bottomless brunch availability and being in close proximity to the university campus.
The other top venues on the list for Newcastle were The Jam Jar in Jesmond, The Hudson in the city centre, Sohe, St Vincent, No 28 and Aveika.
