A banned driver's dangerous actions caused a terrifying crash on the M8 motorway.
Jonathan Adair was serving his second driving ban when he changed lanes in his speeding vehicle and hit a flooded area near Cardonald.
Glasgow Sheriff Court heard today the 28-year-old's actions caused the other car to spin 360 degrees at junction 25, before it ploughed into the central reservation.

Adair, from East Kilbride, pled guilty to dangerous driving while disqualified on Boxing Day 2020.
Prosecutor Laura Martin said: “Adair moved from lanes two to three and went to overtake the other vehicle.
“He passed through a flooded area and appeared to lose control and struck the other vehicle.
“The caused the driver of the other car to lose control and hit the central reservation. The car then did a 360.”
Adair was later traced and he was found to be a disqualified driver.
Des Ziolo, defending, told the court that it was a momentary lapse of judgement.
The lawyer added: “He should have known better as he works in the motor trade with cars in garages. He chose the wrong option.”
Imposing a £1,500 fine, Sheriff Vincent Lunny told Adair that he should be going to jail.
He added: “The offence is going on 18 months and I’m prepared to give you a final chance.
“For a young man who works in the motor trade your manner of driving is appalling.”
Adair was ordered to do 300 hours of unpaid work and tagged for seven months keeping him indoors between 7pm and 7am.
The dad was also put under supervision for two years and banned from driving for 43 months on top of the monetary penalty.
