A driver whose licence was revoked for speeding was caught driving - away from court.
The 37-year-old male was caught by police last year driving at 105mph and undertaking at least one vehicle.
The DVLA then revoked his driving license for unrelated reasons.
He attended court this month for the speeding and undertaking incident and escaped a ban by arguing exceptional hardship.
But he was caught after the hearing - after driving away from the court with the DVLA yet to grant him a new licence.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police’s No Excuse road safety team shared the incident on their Twitter account on Monday, January 17).
They wrote: "2021: Driver seen at 105mph and then undertaking - sent to court.
"2022: Driver in court and escapes a driving ban. Drives away from court - forgets his licence has been revoked by the DVLA for other reasons. Stopped and vehicle seized.
"Driver will be heading back to court."
A silver BMW with its doors and boot open was pictured in the tweet.
The photo was tagged in Bodmin.
