A piece of street art has led to some speculation that it could be a Banksy. The mysterious piece has appeared in Wolverhampton and shows a soldier, painted in black, pointing a rifle at a young girl who has been painted in white.
Above this are the words 'Magnum Force', with the letters appearing to drop down. The street art was seen by University of Wolverhampton employee Iliyan Stefanov.
He told Express and Star: "I live very close to the work and I walk through the area more or less every morning.

"This particular morning I saw it and recognised it looked like Banksy artwork. I don’t remember seeing it before so I took some pictures."
Mr Stefanov described it as a "pleasant surprise" and said he hoped it doesn't disappear, adding he was considering telling the council in case they want to protect it. Wolverhampton has had similar Banksy-style artwork before.
A local councillor said it had "all the characteristics of a Banksy", but that he thinks it is a local artist called "Skore" who works in the same tradition as Banksy.
Just last month, a piece of Banksy artwork was auctioned off for £81,000 with the money going to a children's hospital in Ukraine. The 2005 work CND Soldiers, which depicts two soldiers graffitiing the symbol of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament on a wall, was sold via “silent auction” on the website MyArtBroker.com.
