Online banking has been restored for customers with The Co-operative Bank. During the morning of Sunday, April 2, customers were unable to acess their online banking via the website or mobile app after an issue recquired maintenance to be carried out.
Service was restored later in the day, but during the time maintenance was carried out customers were struggling to check their balance, make payments from and between Co-oparative Bank accounts and check their recent transactions. In a Facebook post, The Co-operative Bank stated: "Our maintenance to Online Banking and the Smile and Co-operative Bank Mobile Apps has completed.
"Online Banking is now available for all customers and the Smile Mobile App is now also available. We hope to restore service to The Co-operative Bank Mobile App as soon as possible.
"Once again we apologise sincerely for any inconvenience this has caused and want to reassure you that we are working tirelessly to resolve the issue affecting our Co-operative Bank Mobile App."
