With Christmas and New Year comes bank holidays, meaning many branches will be closed next week and the week following.
Banks will for the most part close over the Christmas bank holidays, which includes Boxing day, December 26, and a substitute day for Christmas on December 27. They will also likely close on the January 2 bank holiday and the substitute New Years day bank holiday on January 3
During the days that the banks are operating, there is a chance that they will be on reduced hours such as 9AM to 3PM rather than 9Am to 5PM. Opening times may also vary depending on regional branches.

Bank of Scotland and other Lloyds Banks
This includes Lloyds Bank, Bank of Scotland and Halifax branches.
Closed: December 25 26 and 27. January 1 and 2
Open: December 24, 28, 29 30 and 31. from January 3 onwards.
Lloyds bank and all of its subsidiaries have branch locator tools, so check yours as timing may vary depending on the branch.
RBS and other NatWest banks
This includes NatWest Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland and Ulster Bank.
Closed: December 24, 25 and 31. Some branches closed on December 26 and 27. January 1 and 2
Open: December 26, 27 28, 29 and 30. from January 3 onwards.

Santander
Closed: December 25 26 and 27. January 1 and 2
Open: December 24, 28, 29, 30 and 31. from January 3 onwards.

Closed: December 24, 25, 26, 27 and 31. January 1, 2 and 3
Open: December 28, 29 and 30. from January 4 onwards.

Closed: December 24, 25, 26, 27 and 31. January 1 and 2.
Open: December 28, 29 and 30. from January 3 onwards.

Again, some branches will be closed on Saturday, it depends on the branch, so check your local opening times online.
