Met Eireann has released its full Bank Holiday weekend forecast and while temperatures are set to rise it won’t be until next week that dry weather hits.
Temperatures will hit a maximum peak of 18C throughout the weekend and won't drop below 7C any of the nights at the weekend and while there will be bouts of sunny spells, most days will see scattered showers.
These showers are expected to clear off moving into next week, when Met Eireann predicts there will "be a good deal of dry weather". Here is Met Eireann’s full Bank Holiday weekend forecast:

Clear spells on Friday night give way to mostly cloudy conditions building from the west, along with outbreaks of rain and temperatures not falling below 7C to 11C in light variable breezes with fog patches developing.
On Saturday it will be mostly cloudy in the morning with some patchy light rain or drizzle. Good sunny spells and scattered showers will develop during the morning and afternoon, possibly turning heavy in the northeast. The highest temperatures will be between 15C to 18C in light southwesterly or variable breezes.
Saturday night will see clear spells and scattered showers at first before cloudier conditions and showery rain moves in from the west. Temperatures again not falling below 7C to 11C in light southerly or variable breezes.
Showery rain on Sunday morning will continue to clear eastwards to leave a day of sunny spells and widespread showers, some heavy. Highest temperatures of 14C to 18C, coolest along Atlantic coasts as light southwesterly breezes gradually increase moderate westerly.
The showers will become more isolated early in the night, with cloud building in from the northwest and temperatures not falling below 7C to 10C.
On Bank Holiday Monday, there will be some sunny spells and scattered showers for the morning and afternoon, with most areas becoming dry towards evening as the showers largely die out. The highest temperatures will be between 14C to 17C.
Current indications suggest that there will be a good deal of dry weather through midweek at least with just some showers. Temperatures will continue to reach the mid-to-high teens with mostly light winds.
