Brits have a total of five bank holidays to look forward to over the next two months as we head into spring and Easter is followed by King Charles' coronation.
There are nine bank holidays in total this year, but it's been quite a while since the last one on Monday, January 2 - a substitute for New Year's Day which fell on a Sunday this year. Thankfully, we now have less than a month to wait until we can enjoy another extra day off.
The next bank holiday will be Good Friday on April 7. This will be closely followed by the next bank holiday on Easter Monday, April 10, spelling a four-day weekend for anyone who usually works Monday to Friday.

Looking ahead to May, there are three more bank holidays to look forward to as the UK is treated to an extra day off to mark the coronation of King Charles. The Early May bank holiday will kick things off on Monday, May 1, before the coronation bank holiday takes place just a week later on Monday, May 8.
Coronation celebrations will take place from Saturday, May 6, with the weekend set to begin with Charles and Queen Consort Camilla crowned at Westminster Abbey on Saturday morning. They will then return to Buckingham Palace and make an appearance on the balcony along with other members of the Royal Family.
On Sunday, May 7, a special coronation concert will take place at Windsor Castle featuring "global music icons and contemporary stars", which will be broadcast live on the BBC, and street parties are also expected to take place across the country. Meanwhile, the bank holiday Monday has been named 'the big help out', and Brits have been encouraged to use the extra day to do volunteer work.
But that's not all for May - there will be one more bank holiday at the end of the month as the Spring bank holiday arrives on Monday, May 29. Brits should make the most of the extra time off, as after this there won't be another bank holiday for another three months.
Next up is the Summer bank holiday, which takes place on Monday, August 28. After that, there will be another four months to wait before the final two bank holidays of the year on Christmas Day and Boxing Day, which this year fall on a Monday and Tuesday respectively.
